Ibanez evaluated every component, while aiming to stay true to the pedal’s transparent and mid-range-focused tone. After numerous prototypes, Ibanez concluded the JRC NJM4558 op-amp was essential to achieve the Tube Screamer’s legendary sound. At the same time, this new design is capable of a wider range of sounds thanks to the addition of high-end components such as MOGAMI OFC cables, which further enhance the benefits of a hand-wired pedal. Additionally, a boost has been added to the final stage of the circuit, increasing the maximum output level by +6dB. Its look has also been revamped, giving it a high-end appearance while retaining the traditional shape.

Hand-wired

Japanese MOGAMI OFC Cable (AWG21)

Overdrive, Tone and Level controls

Custom Designed Black Alumite Knobs

Standard 2.1mm DC Jack (center negative)

True Bypass

I/O's: INPUT, OUTPUT

Required Current: 7mA@9V/11mA@18V

Power Supply: One 9 volt battery (006P) or external AC adapter (Use only DC 9-18V center negative))

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0779/8299/0499/files/p_region_TS808HWV2_C3_01_92bbd27a-70bc-4fb1-a781-545ca8b56572.jpg?v=1791174517
