Engineered for heavy play style, this acoustic-electric guitar has become a favorite of players around the world. The Breedlove sound comes through bold and clean with balanced bass, mids, and highs reminiscent of rosewood. A soft cutaway provides access to the entire ebony fretboard.

Engineered to perfection, this guitar is ideal for strumming and rhythm, but it's not just loud; it has more note-to-note clarity than most large body guitars. The maple neck complements the myrtlewood in tonal perfection. Myrtlewood is locally sourced in the Pacific Northwest - a short distance from where they are hand-crafted in small batches by Breedlove's dedicated craftsmen. The myrtlewood sound stays true when amplified through the highly reliable LR Baggs EAS VTC electronics. You will sound better, play better and play more on a Breedlove Oregon Series guitar.

Playing Style

The Breedlove Play Style system was created to help you, the player, select your sound and playing style. Finding the most appropriate guitar to fit your sound requires finding not only the correct body shape, but the proper tonewood combinations to fit your style of play. Each Breedlove guitar is designed for a specific play style and sound, the Play Style systems assign a playing style icon to each instrument.

Heavier play and strumming: Historically, larger guitars are designed for bigger sound and stronger play. Breedlove can achieve this robust playing style on the guitar body shape that is most comfortable to the player.

SPECIFICATIONS

Body

Top: Myrtlewood

Top Finish: Bourbon burst gloss

Back and Sides: Myrtlewood

Back and Side Finish: Bourbon gloss

Body Type: Concerto

Cutaway: Soft

Body Binding: Black

Body Purfling: Basswood - Tilia Americana (United States)

Bracing: Sitka spruce

Back Strip / Side Brace: Honduran mahogany - Swietenia macrophylla (Guatemala)

Kerfing: African Mahogany - Khaya senegalensis (Republic of Congo)

Lower Bout Width: 16 inches / 406 mm

Waist Width: 9.37 inches / 238 mm

Upper Bout Width: 11.745 inches / 298 mm

Body Length: 20.695 inches / 526 mm

Body Depth at Neck: 4 inches / 102 mm

Body Depth at Tailblock: 5 inches / 127 mm

Sound Hole Diameter: 3.75 inches / 95 mm

Crafted In: Bend, OR USA

Neck

Neck: Eastern hard rock maple

Scale Length: 25.5 inches / 648 mm

Number of Frets: 20

Fretboard: African ebony

Fretboard Inlay: Offset Dots

Headstock Shape: Wave

Headstock Overlay: African ebony

Tailblock: Eastern hard rock maple

Nut / Saddle: TUSQ

Nut Width: 1.75 inches / 44.45 mm

Hardware

Bridge: African ebony - Diospyros Crassiflora (Republic of Congo)

Bridge Plate: Eastern hard rock maple - Acer Saccharum (United States)

Logo: Polyester

Tuners: Breedlove, satin gold

Electronics: LR Baggs EAS VTC

String Gauge: D'Addario XT PB Medium

Case: Deluxe Hardshell

Manufacturer: Breedlove Guitars
Model: ORCO04CEMYMY
SKU: I626388-N-27082-0-WHXX
UPC: 875934009845

We are Musictoner Musictoner

Since 1958, Chuck Levin’s Musictoner has been the trusted destination for musicians and audio professionals across Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, D.C.
