We’ve expanded our popular LTD ’87 Series to include some of the most coveted guitars from that time frame. The Horizon Custom ’87 takes the amazing archtop body of the ESP Horizon, and offers it exactly as you’d have found it in the late ‘80s and early ‘90s… minimally adorned and built to shred! This guitar offers neck-thru-body construction at 25.5” scale for intense sustain, pairing an alder body and an extra-thin three-piece maple neck. The Horizon Custom ’87 features a Macassar ebony fingerboard with 24 extra-jumbo frets and no inlays; side position dots help you find your way. Its components include a Floyd Rose 1000 double-locking tremolo, a Seymour Duncan TB-5 Custom Trembucker in the bridge, and a Seymour Duncan Hot Rails in the neck position. Coil spitting for single-coil tones on either or both pickups is available via push-pull controls on the volume and tone knobs.

SPECIFICATIONS

Body

Construction: Neck-Thru

Body: Alder

Neck

Scale: 25.5"

Neck: 3Pc Maple

Fingerboard: Macassar Ebony

Fingerboard Radius: 350mm

Finish: BLACK

Nut Width: 42mm

Nut Type: Locking

Neck Contour: Extra Thin U

Frets/Type: 24 XJ

Hardware

Hardware Color: Black

Strap Button: Standard

Tuners: LTD

Bridge: Floyd Rose 1000

Electronics

Neck PU: Seymour Duncan Hotrail *(Pull Tone for Split)

Bridge PU: Seymour Duncan Custom *(Pull Tone for Split)

Electronics Layout: Master Volume/Tone (Push/Pull)/Toggle Switch

Electronics: Passive

Miscellaneous

Strings: D'Addario XL120 (.009/.011/.016/.024/.032/.042)

Manufacturer: ESP Guitars
Model: LHORIZONCTM87BLK
SKU: I761822-N-1-WHXD
UPC: 719710620124

We are Musictoner Musictoner

Since 1958, Chuck Levin’s Musictoner has been the trusted destination for musicians and audio professionals across Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, D.C.
