The result is a flat ride that is full of character and will work in many settings. The 21” size plus the medium-thin weight makes this a versatile ride which is perfect for situations where subtlety and shading is needed as much as straight forward clarity. The extensive hand-hammering builds in a robust character that many flat rides do not exhibit.

Byzance Foundry Reserve

The Byzance Foundry Reserve collection is a limited selection of cymbals created at the Byzance cymbal foundry in Turkey. Inspired from the time when all cymbals were handmade, these cymbals showcase the stunning, sonically rich works of art that their cymbalsmiths create with layers of tonality and nuance; however, that is only half of the beauty, as they are visually striking from the one-of-a-kind hand hammered marks.

Each Byzance Foundry Reserve comes with a pair of Meinl Stick & Brush Standard 5A Drumsticks, a pair of 100% cotton handling gloves, a signed certificate of authenticity, and a personal letter from Mr. Reinhold Meinl.

SPECIFICATIONS

Type: Flat Ride

Size: 21 inch

Weight: Medium Thin

Finish: Traditional

Material: B20 Bronze

Product weight may differ from the pictured Ride Cymbal

Manufacturer: Meinl Percussion
Model: B21FRFR
SKU: I765196-N-2-WHXC
UPC: 842960110395

We are Musictoner Musictoner

Since 1958, Chuck Levin’s Musictoner has been the trusted destination for musicians and audio professionals across Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, D.C.
