Each member is devoted to the same uncompromising ethos, which is evident in their surprisingly tasteful musicality, creative wit and saucy humor.\u003c\/p\u003e \u003cp\u003ePaul Landers has been a long-time user of Tech 21 gear, both the SansAmp GT2 and SansAmp PSA, which is especially prominent in their worldwide smash “Du Hast.” While he liked the format of the Fly Rigs, Paul was looking for a different feature set. Given Paul’s long term relationship with Andrew Barta, it was a no-brainer to collaborate on a Fly Rig to fulfill his individual needs.\u003c\/p\u003e \u003cp\u003eJust prior to serious discussions on the development, Rammstein were in rehearsals for their 2017 tour. Paul initially opted for, dare we say, a very high-end digital emulator\/effects processor. When it unexpectedly went down, he grabbed his trusty SansAmp GT2. It was unanimously agreed by the crew, sound engineers, fellow band members, and Paul himself, the GT2 had more “air” and liveliness. This marked the initial design foundation for Paul’s Signature Fly Rig.\u003c\/p\u003e \u003cp\u003eThe Paul Landers PL1 Signature Fly Rig offers 2 SansAmp channels, one clean and one dirty. Like our other Fly Rigs, it offers the same ease, portability, confidence and multi-functionality for going direct to a mixer or P.A. and as a pre-amp\/stompbox in live performances.\u003c\/p\u003e \u003cp\u003ePaul is known for his impish grin and waggish sense of humor, but the PL1 Signature Fly Rig is brutally serious!\u003c\/p\u003e \u003ch4\u003eSansAmo Feuer (Fire) and SansAmp Wasser (Water)\u003c\/h4\u003e \u003cp\u003eThe Paul Landers Signature Fly Rig features two all-analog SansAmp channels to switch between dirty and clean tones.\u003c\/p\u003e  \u003cp\u003e\u003cb\u003eThe Feuer\u003c\/b\u003e section has 3-band active EQ controls with switchable Mid, Drive and Level.\u003c\/p\u003e \u003cp\u003e\u003cb\u003eThe Wasser\u003c\/b\u003e section has dual-band active EQ controls, compression, and Level.\u003c\/p\u003e  \u003cp\u003eThere’s a Bite switch for a presence boost which provides extra clarity to the top end, increased definition to your notes, and an edginess with increased harmonics and a slight breakup.\u003c\/p\u003e \u003cp\u003e\u003cb\u003eBuilt-In Speaker\/Cab Sim\u003c\/b\u003e: The 100% analog SansAmp Tube Amplifier Emulation technology encompasses the entire signal chain, from pre-amp to power amp to speaker simulation. An integral part of the circuitry, the SansAmp speaker simulation will complement any type of guitar or bass speaker cabinet system. You can also place an external IR after a SansAmp to give additional flavor if you so desire. The SansAmp speaker sim is designed and individually tailored for a smooth, even response as would be achieved by a multiply-miked cabinet –without peaks, valleys, and notches associated with single miking and many IRs.\u003c\/p\u003e \u003ch4\u003eDLA with Tap Tampo + Vibrato + Ambiance\u003c\/h4\u003e \u003cul\u003e \u003cli\u003e \u003cb\u003eDelay\u003c\/b\u003e is voiced for the sounds of a vintage tape echo.
