Summary Body Material: Mahogany Neck Material: Maple Neck Profile: "C" profile Neck Thickness (IN): .82" (1st fret), .98" (12th fret) Fingerboard Radius: 12.00" Nut Width: 1-5/8" Electronics: Original Gibson pickups. The rotary tone switch has been replaced, and functions as a 3-position pickup selector switch. Some additional solder joints and ground connections in the wiring harness have been repaired. The pots are original, with 1974 date codes. Pickup Measurements: N/A due to wiring Weight: 9 lbs 4 oz Cosmetic Condition: This vintage Gibson EB-3 bass shows moderate cosmetic wear, with checking, hazing, and various small blemishes on the glossy finish. There is repaired cracking around the output jack and control cavity, with a piece of mahogany missing. A larger washer has been added to the output jack. Modifications/Repairs: Repaired cracks at the output jack, with added washer. The rotary switch has been replaced, and various electrical connections have been repaired. Serial Number: 964612 Tech Notes: The bass plays well with medium-low action and light neck relief. The wide frets are low with minor wear.
