Combining MIDI implementation and MIDI channel voice priority with an analog, semi-modular architecture, Behringer’s Edge lives up to its name and beyond, with its modern “edge” and a vintage soul. With its massive range of drums and percussion sounds, throbbing sub-bass, screaming highs, and spaced-out effects, Edge adds another layer of dimension and power to your grooves, analog ‘Precision-Synth” style.

Endlessly flexible yet easy to operate, Edge employs dual VCOs (with PWM, triangle, FM, and sync), a multi-mode 24dB “ladder” VCF, 3 EGs, and a white/pink noise generator for its massive analog sonics-- Edge delivers far more than any dedicated digital-era drum machine.

Along the top of the desktop-size module, you’ll discover a 15 x 10 patch bay matrix for a wide range of internal routing flexibility, plus MIDI and USB for external synchronization. Decked out in shocking electric pink, Edge features 44 controls of real-time access to all critical parameters, but the real fun starts at the Sequencer control section. Utilizing two 8-step sequencers with dedicated pitch and velocity controls, an 8-way time division selector, and tempo control that ramps up to 10,000 BPM—Behringer Edge is a powerfully versatile and very affordable standalone precision synth, a perfect mate for the Behringer Crave module or addition to any modular synth rig.
