Mesa Boogie 1x12 Vintage Thiele Cabinet - Wicker Grille

ADD SOME TIGHT, FOCUSED LOW END TO YOUR RIG

Back by popular demand, Fat Tone’s secret weapon returns in the form of the 1x12 Vintage Thiele Cabinet. Once the seen-everywhere companion to Boogie® Combos and small Heads, this compact cabinet set the standard for portable rigs that delivered from clubs to concert arenas throughout the decade of decadence. The ported 1x12 extension is the perfect enhancement to the latest “2nd Build” Mark IIC+ or any Mark Series Combo or Head paired with an open-back cabinet, adding focused fundamentals and thundering low end to the iconic sounds of the era.

Originally designed for the Electro-Voice EVM12L speaker and introduced under Boogie banners in the early 1980s, the Thiele’s signature sound remains timeless for players seeking added girth and percussive lows, regardless of amp origin or style. Now loaded with an era-appropriate proprietary Celestion C90 speaker, the 1x12 Thiele delivers more than enough low-end punch while responding with a forgiving, overdrive-friendly voice—expanding its versatility to include today’s heavier genres alongside its classic roots.
