Everything you need to know.

From Selmer Paris comes the next generation of the wildly popular Prologue advanced clarinet, "The clarinet that makes you want to play".

From concept to completion, the Selmer Paris Prologue provides the advancing clarinetist with the tools needed to ensure future musical success.

  • Its bore offers great sound quality: homogenous and balanced sound in all registers.
  • The Prologue clarinet is equipped with a revolutionary new thumb rest: adjustable in 4 directions: north-south and east-west.
  • New ergonomic register key: more material for easy access to the upper registers.
  • Removable ergonomic tone hole insert for the D/G tone hole, designed for small hands.

Pound for pound, we believe the new Prologue clarinet to be the best designed, best constructed clarinet in its price point and offers an amazing opportunity for the growing young clarinetist.
