This stunning all-Hawaiian-koa Grand Concert matches its dazzling visual character with a bold, sparkling sound that’s sure to entice players of all styles. Back and sides of layered figured koa with a solid koa top yield a woody, focused voice, with a rich midrange, articulate treble notes and a low-end response that will grow warmer and more pronounced with time and play. It’s a versatile tone profile that will perform as well for fingerstyle players as it will for flatpickers and strummers. Appointments for this model make it an alluring choice as a stage guitar, featuring a luxurious gloss-finish body with a shaded edgeburst treatment for the top, back and sides, along with black binding, black and white top purfling, a single-ring rosette and Small Diamond fretboard inlays in Italian acrylic, gold hardware and a black pickguard.
