SOFT V NECK PROFILE: The Eric Clapton Stratocaster features a "soft V" neck profile, which is more rounded than the '50s "V" profile. This shape provides a comfortable feel, especially for players with larger hands who rest their thumb over the edge of the fingerboard.
EFFICIENT TONE CONTROL: The first tone control knob operates the TBX (Treble Bass Expander) circuitry. From zero to the detent (center position), it functions as a normal tone control. Turning it clockwise from the detent adds presence and brightness, while turning it counterclockwise reduces high frequencies.
ACTIVE MID BOOST: The second tone control knob is an active mid-boost control. Turning it clockwise increases mid and bass frequencies and decreases treble frequencies, offering a versatile range of tones.
BLOCKED TREMOLO: The guitar includes a removable wood block installed between the tremolo block and cavity wall, preventing movement as specified by Eric Clapton. This setup stabilizes tuning and enhances sustain.
Experience the peerless Strat style of Slow hand himself with the Eric Clapton Stratocaster, one of our most acclaimed and enduring artist signature models. Key features include an alder body, three Vintage Noiseless pickups, active mid-boost (25 dB) and TBX tone circuits, a special "soft V" neck profile, and a vintage-style blocked synchronized tremolo bridge.
