Behringer Wave 0722-ABD 8-Voice Multi-Timbral Hybrid Synthesizer

Ride Classic Wavetable Sound with the Behringer WAVE 8-Voice Multi-Timbral Hybrid Synthesizer

The Behringer WAVE brings classic 8- and 16-bit wavetable synthesis into a modern hybrid synthesizer built for expressive performance, deep sound design, and vintage-inspired tone. With 8 configurable voices, 16 wavetable oscillators, an analog VCF and VCA, a 49-key semi-weighted keyboard, sequencer, arpeggiator, and extensive connectivity, WAVE is designed for creating lush pads, basses, bells, chimes, evolving textures, and unmistakable 80s-inspired sounds.

• 8-voice multi-timbral hybrid synthesizer
• Classic 8- or 16-bit resolution wavetable synthesis
• 16 wavetable oscillators
• Analog VCF and VCA
• 24 dB lowpass filter
• 49 semi-weighted, full-size keys with velocity and aftertouch
• Built-in polyphonic sequencer
• Dual arpeggiator with up, down, up-down, and random modes
• USB 2.0 MIDI and 5-pin DIN MIDI in/out/thru
• 2-line, 40-digit LCD display and secondary OLED display

Flexible, Vibrant, Vintage Sounds

WAVE is designed for creating lush pads, basses, and bell- or chime-like sounds with 8 highly configurable voices and classic wavetables featuring 64 waves each. An additional 64 fixed sub-oscillator waveforms add depth, while 2 ADSR envelopes allow users to shape wavetable behavior with precision. A dedicated sub-oscillator position control adds extra nuance, and additional user wavetables and transients can be imported through the SynthTribe app for macOS and Windows.

Enhanced Expression

WAVE’s 49 full-size keys offer a strong balance of expressiveness and playability. Velocity sensitivity and aftertouch allow players to shape and modulate sounds based on how hard or soft they play, making the instrument responsive for both performance and studio production.

Sequencing and Arpeggiator Tools

A built-in polyphonic sequencer and dual arpeggiator provide flexible pattern creation and performance control. The arpeggiator supports up, down, up-down, and random modes for building rhythmic ideas, melodic movement, and evolving musical patterns.

Hybrid Sound Design for Modern Setups

With wavetable oscillators, analog filtering, analog amplification, MIDI, USB, CV, gate, sync, pedal connections, individual channel outputs, and onboard displays, WAVE is built to integrate into modern studios, hardware rigs, and performance setups.
