DPA’s versatile and practical instrument clip system has been a key selling point since the launch of the original 4099 in 2008. The principle of attaching the clip to the gooseneck has proven highly effective in both classical and rock applications, offering secure and flexible mounting solutions. And now, DPA has enhanced the clip system – improving not only the acoustic performance of the microphone but also the security, reliability and efficiency of the mounting process. These refinements make it easier to close-mic instruments and adjust capsule positioning for optimal performance.

The most significant update is the introduction of a new gooseneck locking mechanism: the Gooseneck Mount (G-MOUNT). By integrating this new locking principle, DPA has streamlined the mounting process, ensuring greater stability, ease of use and precision of mic placement for musicians and audio professionals alike.
