The Fireball has long been a benchmark for high-gain guitar tone. Now, ENGL Amplifiers introduces the Fireball Blackout Series — a striking new all-black edition of one of its most iconic amplifiers. Combining the legendary Fireball sound with a bold new aesthetic, the Blackout Series delivers the tight low end, cutting mids, and articulate high-gain performance that have made the Fireball a favorite among guitarists worldwide. The Clean channel offers chimey, shimmering clean tones that start to smoothly break up as you edge past 12 o’clock on the gain knob. At higher gain settings, you can wring crisp, articulate crunch sounds out of this channel. The Lead channel starts where the Clean channel ends, offering up endless amounts of gain, making it perfect for any style of rock and metal music. The adjustable built-in Noise Gate helps you tame any extraneous noise at higher gain settings. The Mid Boost function is available in both channels of the Fireball 25, and is a great option for cutting through any band mix… like when you take center stage for a solo! The power amp is equipped with 6L6GC tubes, just like the amp’s bigger brother, the Fireball 100. The built-in Power Soak offers you the opportunity to play late at night or whenever higher volumes are unacceptable, and also gives you the chance to push the power amp to break up at lower volumes. Handcrafted in Germany and built to ENGL’s uncompromising standards, the Fireball Blackout Series is designed for players who demand both exceptional tone and unmistakable style.
