Gretsch 5.5 x 14-Inch Brooklyn Snare Drum - Satin Black Metallic

Discover the Power of a Gretsch Snare Drum with the Gretsch 5.5 x 14-Inch Brooklyn Snare Drum - Satin Black Metallic

Designed in collaboration with Gretsch artist and renowned educator Mike Johnston, the new Gretsch Brooklyn Standard snare drum raises the bar for a workhorse snare drum that every drummer should have in their arsenal.

Brooklyn delivers classic Gretsch tones that are full, punchy, and warm. Brooklyn's innovative specifications created a new Gretsch tonal characteristic that is slightly more open and satisfyingly ambient. There is no denying that Brooklyn drums possess the sound of classic Gretsch drums, but deliver their own sonic personality.

Every specification of the Gretsch Brooklyn Standard snare drum is purposeful in the way it affects the sound, dynamics, and playability of the drum. The combination of a 5.5x14 Brooklyn shell, 45-degree bearing edges, a batter side tone control, 42-strand snare wires, and 302 hoops make this drum a must-have for any serious snare collection. The drum is finished in Satin Black Metallic and complimented with chrome hardware.
