Artist-Refined Versatility – The JodyJazz DV JC JODY CUSTOM Tenor Saxophone Mouthpiece – 6
The DV JC JODY CUSTOM Tenor is based on Jody Espina’s personal, long-refined DV mouthpiece, developed over years of real-world professional performance across jazz, funk, R and B, pop, and ballads. This is the most versatile, expressive, and player-friendly DV ever made. Originally introduced in 2005, the DV Series changed expectations for metal mouthpieces—delivering free-blowing response, strong projection, and a full, warm core rarely found in metal designs. The DV JC JODY CUSTOM Tenor takes that evolution even further.
- Big, fat, warm, and dark core
- Powerful when pushed—beautifully expressive at softer dynamics
- Feels less like a metal mouthpiece than previous DV models
- Sits perfectly between the DV and DV NY and feels more solid and focused than the DV CHI
Players love the standard DV, but they don’t want to put this one down.
