Grand Feel III Wooden-Key Action

The CA701 features Kawai’s Grand Feel III wooden-key keyboard action, which incorporates many of the principles found in an acoustic piano. Its wooden keys, grade-weighted hammers, triple-sensor key detection, let-off simulation, and graded counterweights work together to create a responsive and natural playing experience.

Shigeru Kawai Concert Grand Sound

The Shigeru Kawai SK-EX concert grand piano is reproduced through Kawai’s advanced piano sound engine, giving players access to a refined, expressive tone inspired by one of Kawai’s finest concert instruments. The CA701 is designed to capture the nuance, depth, and dynamic character needed for expressive piano performance.

Immersive Speaker and Amplifier Design

A robust six-speaker configuration and innovative amplifier technologies work together to create a rich and impressive tone. This speaker system helps deliver depth, clarity, and presence, making the CA701 well suited for solo practice, performance, and everyday playing.

Intuitive Touchscreen Control

The anti-glare LCD color touchscreen makes it easy to access sounds, settings, and performance features. With clear menus and intuitive controls, the CA701 gives players a modern interface without distracting from the piano experience.
