L.R. Baggs Para DI Acoustic Preamp + DI Guitar Pedal

Professional Acoustic Preamp, Powerful EQ & Studio-Quality DI Performance - The L.R. Baggs Para DI Acoustic Preamp + DI Guitar Pedal

In 1995, the Para DI changed history by becoming the first-ever preamp/DI designed specifically for acoustic instruments. Developed in collaboration with renowned HiFi amplifier designer Greg Schugg, the Para DI co-opted high-end circuitry designs from the hi-fi and pro-audio spaces to create a preamp easy enough for beginners to use, but with the rich audio quality and precise tone-shaping that pros return to tour after tour.

Its uniquely intuitive feature set and roadworthy form factor have inspired countless other Baggs products, but the original remains an icon and industry standard around the world.

A Heart of Analog Warmth

The heart of the Para DI is the inherent warmth the preamp gives to your signal, no matter which pickup or acoustic instrument you plug in. Adjust the input Gain appropriately for your pickup, leave the tone-shaping controls set completely flat, and you’ll still hear the beautifully subtle character of this preamp.

Tone and Feedback Control

With a straightforward layout for quick adjustments, the adjustable mid-range EQ provides even more precision where you need it most. When you combine the EQ with the feedback-fighting Notch and Phase Invert controls, you get a utility DI that you can rely on in any situation.

A Multi-Instrument Workhorse

Famously a staple for acoustic guitar players, the Para DI’s reputation for sound quality, durability, and flexibility has made it a beloved companion for a wide range of acoustic musicians. From violin and mandolin to upright bass, banjo, and countless others, if you have an acoustic instrument with a pickup installed, the Para DI is designed to enrich its truest character.
