The PoliMATHS is an eight-channel CV and audio event generator for the New Universal Synthesizer System or any Eurorack modular synthesizer. It uses a single set of controls to generate complex functions across eight independent channels. Each function combines two key components: a Rise-Fall envelope with variable curve—familiar from the original MATHS, Function, and 0-Coast Slope—and a variable-shape oscillator whose amplitude is controlled over time by the envelope. This oscillator can operate at low or audio frequencies, allowing for intricate control voltages or self-contained sound generation with optional tuned 1V/oct pitch control.

PoliMATHS forms the heart of Make Noise’s New Universal Synthesizer System (NUSS), designed for deep interoperability with companion modules such as MultiMod and QXG. Use its output headers to pre-patch directly to the QXG’s control inputs for fast setup and synchronized multichannel control.
