Meinl 22-Inch Byzance Foundry Reserve China Ride Cymbal

Take Your China Cymbal Sound to the Next Level with the Meinl 22-Inch Byzance Foundry Reserve China Ride Cymbal

The Byzance Foundry China Ride delivers an articulate knock that china rides are known for; however, this china can also be delicate and sensitive when needed due to the thin weight. Don’t be fooled by the weight though as it easily opens to a roar, that you not only hear but feel, due to the large size and complex hand-hammering. The four rivets add just enough sizzle to carry this cymbal along when riding and will be perfect for a long-decay crash accent. Play this cymbal with a mallet, and you will add a whole new dimension of sound to your arsenal.

Byzance Foundry Reserve

The Byzance Foundry Reserve collection is a limited selection of cymbals created at the Byzance cymbal foundry in Turkey. Inspired from the time when all cymbals were handmade, these cymbals showcase the stunning, sonically rich works of art that their cymbalsmiths create with layers of tonality and nuance; however, that is only half of the beauty, as they are visually striking from the one-of-a-kind hand hammered marks.

Each Byzance Foundry Reserve comes with a pair of Meinl Stick & Brush Standard 5A Drumsticks, a pair of 100% cotton handling gloves, a signed certificate of authenticity, and a personal letter from Mr. Reinhold Meinl.
