RCF SUB 18-AS 2,200-Watt 18-Inch Powered Subwoofer

Powerful Low End for Portable Rigs – RCF SUB 18-AS 2,200-Watt 18-Inch Powered Subwoofer

The RCF SUB 18-AS is a portable 18-inch high-power active subwoofer built for live sound and DJ applications where you need serious punch, fast transient response, and reliable road performance. With a 2200W Class-D amplifier and Bass Motion Control (BMC) processing, it delivers extended bass with high headroom and stable woofer behavior at any volume.

• 2200W Class-D amplifier (peak)
• Up to 135 dB Max SPL
• 35 Hz - 400 Hz frequency response
• 18-inch woofer with 4.0-inch voice coil
• Bass Motion Control for extended low end and controlled excursion
• Baltic birch tour-grade cabinet with durable polyurea coating
• Mono/Stereo Combo XLR/TRS inputs with XLR link
• Stereo XLR crossover outputs
• Rear controls: volume, polarity, low-pass frequency selection
• Convection cooling (no fan)

Designed as an ideal low-frequency partner for 10-inch, 12-inch, or 15-inch tops, the SUB 18-AS combines a high-power 18-inch transducer with RCF’s BMC algorithm that limits only over-excursion—helping keep the bass deep and musical without the phase compromises of traditional high-pass approaches. The rear I/O makes it easy to run mono or stereo feeds, link additional subs, and send crossed-over outputs to your full-range speakers for a clean, efficient system setup.
