Shure KSM40C Large Diaphragm Cardioid Condenser Microphone

Clarity That Sits in a Mix Without Harshness - The Shure KSM40C Large Diaphragm Cardioid Condenser Microphone Studio Bundle

The Shure KSM40C is a large-diaphragm cardioid condenser microphone built to capture vocals and instruments with natural detail, rich low-end, and smooth high-frequency clarity that sits in a mix without harshness. Featuring a precision engineered 1" capsule and a proprietary backplate design that controls diaphragm behavior to reduce sharp resonances, the KSM40C delivers polished, professional results with fast, predictable placement. Its uniform cardioid polar pattern focuses on the source while minimizing room sound and bleed—ideal for multi-mic sessions and less-than-perfect recording spaces.
