The improved sound engine powered by the SWX100 sound chip, the latest sensor unit, plus expanded connectivity, recording drums and miking live performances has never been more convenient without loss of quality.
Equipped with 4 additional splitable trigger inputs, giving it the ability to add up to 9 total triggers, and 8in/10out USD Audio interface capabilities, the EAD20 offers incredible flexibility when miking your instrument and expandability onto a wide range of stages or studios.
Built in Kit Modifier knobs, along with the FREE EAD Touch App make it easier than ever for drummers to make on the fly adjustments such as adjusting gain, reverb, or other effects without missing a beat.
The EAD20 includes several expanded features first introduced in the EAD50, including the ability to record, sample, and create loops, giving every drummer the ability to expand creativity and performances.
The EAD20 elevates every aspect of your drumming - the way you practice, record and perform.
The improved sensor unit attaches to virtually any acoustic bass drum hoop, making it simple to capture a high-quality stereo image of your entire kit. Beyond its role as a microphone, the sensor unit also includes a dedicated kick-trigger.
This converts each bass-drum strike into a precise trigger signal for the EAD20 module, letting you layer samples in perfect sync with your acoustic playing.
The EAD20 unit has 6 inputs, and you can add up to 9 triggers (using splitters), all of this is routed to ¼” stereo outputs, or a single mono output for easy use when miking your instrument onto a wide range of stages or studios.
This makes the EAD20 perfect for intermediate to advanced drummers looking to record or perform in a variety of environments, from small studios to larger stages, from hosting a virtual lesson to recording your next single.
